CREATIVE DIRECTOR  (2001 - 2016)

  • Put Campbell’s Chunky Soup on the map with the multiple Effie Award winning Mama's Boy initiative.

  • Won new Campbell's businessess, including Prego, V8, Pace, and Pepperidge Farm strictly on our extraordinary Chunky success.

  • Led teams on and gave personalities to all those Campbell's brands.  

  • Imbued Goldfish Crackers, kid and all-family targets, with irresistible cuteness.

 

SENIOR COPYWRITER  (1990 - 2000) (Yes, 26 years at Y&R! And with the same art director for 30 years, Eric Glickman)

  • Won Blockbuster Video business. Earnestly tried to get them to change their business model. No luck.

  • Won large chunks of AT&T's business. 

  • Created insightful, successful work for Colgate, Dannon, Digital Computers, many American Home Food products, Fisher Price, Xerox, UNCF, Sanka, and Kodak to name a few.

  • Created the Lake Edna campaign for KFC, their longest running campaign ever. Wrote 60+ commercials. Ate 100+ thighs.

  • Wrote and produced a jillion Jell-O TV and radio spots with and without Bill Cosby. Witnessed Cosby throwing cups of pudding at inattentive children.

 

Ammirati Puris Lintas

 COPYWRITER  (1989 - 1990) 

  • Created a hilarious campaign for Diet Coke and presented it to potential director, Woody Allen, who chuckled and snorted several times (I have witnesses) but who eventually declined.

  • Built Lego.

Junior Copywriter (1986 - 1989)

  • Cut teeth on Wendy’s, Tyson Chicken, Molson, Con Edison, many Nabisco products, etc.

 

BLISS Comic Strip

Cartoonist (1997 - 2000)

  • Created, wrote and illustrated Internationally syndicated comic strip through Universal Press Syndicate.

  • Compiled and edited Bliss collection book, The Road to Bliss, published by Andrews McMeel.

 

THE HOTS Comic Strip

Cartoonist (2002 - 2003)

Created and wrote internationally syndicated comic strip through King Features. Illustrated by Nina Paley.

 

THEATRICAL PRODUCTIONS

  • Pieces of Panic (Writer/Director) Finalist at Aery One-Act Festival (2015). Won Best Director.

  • Going Up?! The Musical  (Lyricist) Winner of the New York New Works Festival (2015)

  • Authored and produced multiple short plays for Westchester Collaborative Theater Company.
